Top Model Moment!

I call this “Look Ma! One hand!” before I got reprimanded in rapid succession spanish by park police.

The boyfriend and I just came back from a whirlwind 2.5 week trip to Iceland, Barcelona, and Lisbon. It was one of the best trips I have had and I cannot wait to plan our next escape! Out of the three locations, Barcelona was probably our least favorite (if we HAD to choose). Don’t get me wrong, I love everything Gaudi and Dali but comparatively, Barcelona was just more touristy and too bustling. There were tons of visitors at every iconic “must see” spot and most restaurants were tourist traps šŸ˜¦

One of my favorite stops was Park Guell – think mosaics everywhere and reliving a Top Model moment. Anyone remember that fierce catwalk?! Our day started out slightly overcast but brightened up as we entered the park. [Note, you need to purchase tickets beforehand and specify the time you wish to enter. There are guards at every entrance so it will be enforced (sigh). ] Coffee in hand, we set out to explore the park and take in the views. Once you get inside the park, all you can see are large open spaces with beautifully adorned columns/seats. We spent about 2 hours in the park (2 hours is more than enough to see everything and take lots of pictures) and bought a new tiled ornament for our around-the-world Christmas tree!

Striped boat neck tee (Target, XS), pleated skirt (Ann Taylor and old, similarĀ here, and here), belt (H&M), black pleather shoes (old, similar here)

Current obsession: mock neck tops – classic turtleneck look without the bulk, yassss (get the look here)
